Big Business, Little Data

A growing number of Californians are being sent to ambulatory surgery centers for a wide variety of procedures, yet little is known about the care they deliver because reporting is not required.

Keeping Track of Asthma

CHCF has made a second investment in Asthmapolis, a device that tracks asthma inhaler use and reports data through mobile phones to patients and doctors to better manage the disease.

Simple questions asked in the private sector:
1. What are the program objectives/goals?
2. What are the transparent CONTROLS on the program?
3. Who (which person) has accountability for the program?
4. Tell me why they should not be "released to pursue other opportunities" when then avoid being responsive to their employers?

We must change the culture of elitism and entitlement of the government employees to one of parity, accountability, and risk taking (action orientation) that exists in the private sector.

The pilot program is done. This isn't difficult. Anyone can write Goals and Objectives. If you would like me to help, I would be happy to assist.
Thank you.

This is sad....we have clients in the rural clinics that are suffering because their Internet connection is so limited. They must have a strong connection and are focred to pay what isolated vendors are charging which is much higher than the rest of pay for less service. Medicare/CMS want the clinics to adopt electronics yet nothing is being done to improve the quality and poricing for their Internet capabilities.
