Which Patient Groups Are Using Digital Resources From Pharmaceutical Firms?

Among online consumers surveyed by patient segment, 72% percent of patients with attention deficit hyperactivity or attention deficit disorder, 70% of bipolar disorder patients and 65% of migraine patients use digital resources from pharmaceutical firms, according to a Manhattan Research survey.

The survey also found that 51% of online U.S. adults use pharmaceutical-sponsored digital resources that include treatment information, disease management tools and physician discussion guides.

The study is based on an online survey of 6,634 U.S. adults conducted in the fourth quarter of 2011.
