How Do Organizations Feel About Their HIE Vendor's Ability To Meet Their Data Needs?

Sixty-five percent of surveyed health care providers and 60% of surveyed insurers said they somewhat or very confident in their health information exchange vendor's ability to meet their data integration and analytics needs, according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers survey.

Seventeen percent of surveyed health care providers and 15% of surveyed insurers said they are not confident in their HIE vendor's ability to meet their data integration and analytics needs.

The report is based on a February survey of more than 600 professionals who represent health care providers, insurers and pharmaceutical companies.
