DIY remote monitoring can help an individual improve her/his wellness, manage a chronic condition, or save a life. Remote condition monitoring (RCM) can perhaps evaluate precursor parameters of migraine headaches, pulmonary and cardiac dysfunctions, and epileptic and diabetic seizures to concurrently and simultaneously warn the individual, athlete, or patient and provider of a looming incident.

Surely, RCM is "meaningful use" of HIT that vastly improves the timeliness and quality of care.
