ONC Releases Data on Hospital EHR Adoption, Meaningful Use

A new data brief from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT finds that the percentage of U.S. acute care hospitals with a basic EHR system more than tripled from 12.2% in 2009 to about 44.4% in 2012.
