What Percentage of Meaningful Use Attesters Used EHR Systems From Certain Vendors?

Of the eligible professionals in an ambulatory care setting who attested to meaningful use of a complete electronic health record system, about 21.9% qualified using Epic Systems technology, according to a report by the software review website Software Advice.

Of those professionals, about 11.9% used an EHR system from Allscripts, about 8.5% used an EHR system from eClinicalWorks, about 6.7% used an EHR system from NextGen Healthcare and about 5.9% used an EHR system from GE Healthcare.

The report is based on an analysis of meaningful use attestation data available from HealthData.gov. The report includes data through October 2012.
