
Seventy-six percent of surveyed U.S. hospitals and health systems said they use the social networking website Facebook, according to a report by consultancy firm CSC.
The report found that 65% of surveyed hospitals and health systems said they use Twitter, 51% said they use YouTube, 41% said they use LinkedIn and 35% said they use blogs. Sixteen percent of surveyed hospitals and health systems said they use other social media platforms, while another 16% said they do not use social media.
The report is based on a survey of 36 U.S. hospitals and health systems conducted in July and August.
