What Types of Health Care Activities Would Consumers Like To Do via Mobile Phone?

Seventy-three percent of surveyed consumers say they would like to be able to request prescription refills using a mobile phone, according to a survey by Accenture.

Sixty-eight percent of survey respondents said they would like to use a mobile phone to book, change or cancel medical appointments, and 63% said they would like to use a mobile phone to receive reminders for preventive or follow-up care.

The survey is based on an online poll of 1,100 U.S. residents conducted between March 30 and April 4.
