
Sixty-five percent of U.S. adults said they are interested or very interested in receiving reminders about upcoming medical appointments via email, according to a recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive for the Optum Institute.
Forty-one percent of U.S. adults said they are interested or very interested in receiving text message reminders about upcoming medical appointments and 28% said they are interested or very interested in receiving appointment reminders via postal mail.
The survey of 2,870 U.S. adults was conducted from May 20 to June 12. The results were weighted to represent the demographics of the U.S. population age 18 and older.
