What Percentage of Health Care Professionals Rate the Following Sources as Highly Credible?

Seventy-eight percent of surveyed physicians rated health websites as highly or very highly credible, according to a survey by Enspektos, a health care marketing communications consulting firm.

Sixty-nine percent of surveyed nurses and 71% of surveyed pharmacists rated health websites as highly or very highly credible.

Enspektos also found that 70% of surveyed physicians rated mobile health content as highly or very highly credible, compared with 46% of surveyed nurses and 61% of surveyed pharmacists.

The survey was conducted between November 2011 and January 2012 among 308 physicians, nurses and pharmacists who answered a questionnaire and agreed to participate in computer-based tracking of their Web activities.
