
Thirty-eight percent of U.S. adults report having researched a specific medical condition online in the past 12 months, according to a Forrester Research survey.
Meanwhile, 26% of U.S. adults have researched a specific drug or medication online in the past year and 10% of adults have gone online to research health insurance providers in the past year.
The survey also found that 7% of U.S. adults have researched the quality of a doctor or hospital online in the past year, while 5% of U.S. adults have researched the cost of a doctor or hospital online.
Results are based on a Q3 2009 survey of 5,264 U.S. adults.
