Data Point Image

Eighty-five percent of online adults from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain report using the Internet to find health and prescription drug information, according to a new Manhattan Research survey.

The survey found that Wikipedia is the top online health resource for consumers in Germany, Italy and Spain. Meanwhile, nhsdirect.nhs.uk is the most popular health information Web site in the U.K., and Doctissimo is the top health site in France, according to the survey.

Results are based on an online Q3 2009 survey of 3,007 adults from the U.K., Germany, Spain, Italy and France.
