SAVES MONEY, IMPROVES HEALTH & HEALTH CARE, IMPROVES PERSON'S EXPERIENCE

Starting in 2001 with the Veterans Health System, we were creating the next generation HealtheVet system as a full integration of clinical, personal, administrative and billing data was key to effective operations and outcomes. As CIO for the Veterans Health Administration, I had a great partnership with and support of the clinical, administrative and billing staff. We also had the same with the Veterans groups.
As did we,there are many good reason to build such full integrated systems that have the capability of appropriately sharing clinical data for care, sharing info with the person, and sharing other data as needed and allowed. The future affordability, accessibility and quality of health care and the building of a healthy and thriving future require nothing less.
