Omnicell, a provider of medication and supply management tools and health care analytics software, has acquired MTS Medication Technologies, a medication adherence packaging systems provider, for $156 million...SAP -- a provider of reporting and enterprise resource planning software for health care and other sectors -- will acquire Ariba, a software-as-a-service commerce network, for $4.3 billion.

BodyMedia, a vendor of wearable body monitors, has completed a $12 million funding round with contributions from multiple investors...Ingenious Med, a health IT firm, has raised $1.3 million in venture funding.
