ActiveCare, a telehealth services provider, has acquired 4G Biometrics, a vendor of diabetes management tools, for an undisclosed sum...On Assignment, a staffing services provider for the health care and life sciences industries, will acquire Apex Systems, an IT staffing and recruiting firm, in a cash and stocks deal valued at $600 million.

Authentidate, a provider of Web-based software applications and telehealth products and services, has completed a $4 million secured loan financing with contributions from several investors.
