The site aims to encourage more people to participate in clinical trials (AHA News, 2/6).
The site provides potential clinical trial participants with:
- Basic information about participating in a clinical trial;
- Videos of past volunteers describing their experiences with clinical trials (Modern Healthcare, 2/6);
- Links to search for available trials or research matching programs; and
- Explanations from researchers about clinical trials.
The website also provides physicians with educational resources that they can use when talking to patients about clinical trials (NIH release, 2/6).
