Last month, Delaware's Department of Health and Social Services launched a website that aims to provide information on aging, disability and other long-term care services across the state's counties, Government Technology reports.
The site was created through the Delaware Aging and Disability Resource Center and will serve as an online resource for caregivers, family members or individuals searching for long-term care services.
Users can search by county or statewide for a specific service, according to Lisa Bond, deputy director of the state Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities.
Individuals can search for services that include:
- Adult day health care;
- Foster care;
- Pharmacy delivery programs; and
- Rehabilitation programs.
The site also includes a special login for long-term care professionals to access information on funding and eligibility requirements for specific programs (Government Technology, 10/6).
