AHRQ Launches Quality Measure Database for Health Professionals

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has launched a new Web site to provide health care professionals with the measures used by federal agencies under HHS for reporting, payment and quality improvement, Modern Healthcare reports.

According to AHRQ, health care professionals can use the National Quality Measures Clearinghouse to help them in their quality policy and implementation initiatives.

The database includes measure sets from the:

  • Administration on Aging;
  • AHRQ;
  • CDC;
  • CMS;
  • Indian Health;
  • NIH;
  • Office of Public Health and Science; and
  • Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (DerGurahian, Modern Healthcare, 11/13).
