WEDI Survey Finds Low Levels of Readiness for ICD-10 Transition

Do Hospital CIOs Plan To Invest in Cloud-Based EHR or Health Data Exchange Technology?

Among CIOs of hospitals with electronic health record systems and health information exchange tools, 59% said their hospital plans to invest in cloud-based technology for EHR systems, HIE tools or both, while 41% said their hospital has no plans to invest in cloud-based systems for either EHR or HIE tools, according to an Optum Institute for Sustainable Health survey conducted by Harris Interactive.
